Yesterday afternoon I attended a seminar for newly elected local councils on finance. Of the seminar was organized by the school administration of Municipalities in Baden-Wuerttemberg. Prof. Klaus Ade led us into the broad cameralistics. Topics included:

• The structure of local budgets
• The revenues of the municipalities
• Financial Relations Confederation - the country's municipalities
• Municipal cameralistic budget law

Particularly interesting were the entanglements between federal, state and community with the cash flows, before all the connections and local financial compensation. Key concepts such as assignments or compensation Stock allocations are now fortunately for me no book to them more. Prof. Ade also explained the development and structure of a budget plan in great detail and showed how to deviations as a result of massive tax losses, can be taken.

The total of 20 participants came from our area, including Wild Mountain, Calw, Althengstett, Bad Herrenalb, Bad Wildbad and Neuhausen. From Bad Liebenzell I happened to be the only participant.
