Directions: From Beerfurth the B 47 towards Michigan City, at the four-storey car park on the trail five to comfortably reach on foot. There is also a geological trail, which passes among other things, an old clay pit, which is still in use. According hiking map there is also a grave somewhere, but I have not found.
The Beer Further castle is a very dilapidated ruin their charm from the beautiful location in the Buchenwald come to pass. Of the foundation of this castle are no documents, probably it was built before 1200 in the vorstaufischen era. The stones of the castle, it is said, were handled unusually beautiful - why ruin unusually quickly as a stone quarry was used and were made from their raw material in building Beerfurth. 
Just below the castle, on the trail 5, there is a nice source with a small Teichlein.
